Terms of Service
Terms governing use of buchecaric.yachts and Atelier Clavier teaching services in Belgium.
Last updated: 25 July 2026
1. Provider
These terms apply to services offered by Atelier Clavier, Veldstraat 56, 9000 Gent, Belgium (email: [email protected], phone: +32 9 225 84 17), operating the website buchecaric.yachts.
Belgian law applies. The courts of Ghent (Gent) have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections under Belgian and EU law.
2. Services
Atelier Clavier provides private piano lessons at the Ghent studio for beginners and advanced students of various ages.
Website content is informational. Lesson packages and fees are confirmed individually when you enrol.
3. Booking and contract
Submitting the contact form is an enquiry, not yet a binding booking. A contract is formed when we confirm lesson times in writing (including email) and you accept the proposed arrangement.
For minors, a parent or legal guardian must conclude the agreement and provide accurate contact details.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are communicated before lessons begin. Invoices are payable according to the stated due date. Late payment may lead to suspension of lessons until the balance is settled.
Prices include VAT where applicable under Belgian tax rules.
5. Cancellation and absence
- Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before a private lesson where possible.
- Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full, unless otherwise agreed.
- If Atelier Clavier must cancel, we will offer a replacement time or credit.
6. Studio lessons
Lessons take place at Veldstraat 56, 9000 Gent, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Students and accompanying adults treat the studio and instrument with care.
7. Conduct and safety
We reserve the right to end a lesson or decline further bookings in case of inappropriate behaviour, unsafe conditions, or non-payment. Atelier Clavier maintains a respectful learning environment for all ages.
8. Intellectual property
Website texts, design, and branding belong to Atelier Clavier or its licensors. Teaching materials shared with students remain our intellectual property unless stated otherwise; personal practise copies for enrolled students are permitted for private use.
9. Liability
We deliver lessons with professional care. To the extent permitted by Belgian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
Students and parents are responsible for their own instruments, personal belongings, and safe travel to and from the studio.
10. Privacy
Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, in line with the GDPR and Belgian law.
11. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts under the Belgian Economic Law Code, subject to legal exceptions (for example services fully performed with your prior consent). Contact us for details relevant to your booking.
You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page applies to new bookings from the update date. Ongoing arrangements continue under previously agreed terms unless we notify you otherwise.
